Set slightly higher up the valley, this cosy little cottage has a stunning view of the reservoir below. With its little log burner it is a comfortable romantic escape. It has two bedrooms (one double, one a small occasional double). It is perfect for a couple, however can sleep up to 4 people.

The Cottage has a beautiful decking area looking out upon the reservoir. It is set in a secluded, private location so you can enjoy the hot tub, eating area and fire pit whilst looking at the stunning view and enjoying the peace and quiet the valley has to offer. The area is well lit so can be enjoyed well into the evening. The hot tub is on all year around and is just as enjoyable on a crisp winter evening as a hot summer night. The Cottage is a truly romantic place to observe the wonder of the Brecon Beacons dark sky reserve, one of the few dark sky reserves in the UK.

Located on the farm, guests will witness – and be apart of – farm life. With the rescued animals coming and going through the yard, you will be living amongst them (we apologise if they slow your process in and out of the yard). They like to say hello. Mabel the pet sheep is likely to greet you, and little Dorrit the house piglet will absolutely grunt “good morning” as he walks past your window. Our two dogs are also around the yard. They are extremely friendly and trustworthy (they love everything and everyone), however if you are not dog friendly please pick one of our other properties, which are the other side of the road.

Please be aware that due to the amount of animal activity going on in the yard we ask that children are over 12 years of age. If you would like to speak to us about children younger, we are happy to address individual cases – and set out a few precautions. The animals going though the yard are very friendly, but they are rescued and we worry about children chasing or following them around, causing unnecessary anxiety. Our other two properties accept children of all ages as they are set across the road from the farm. The little cottage is in the heart of farm life.
